Halifax Hall Hotel awarded 2014 Tripadvisor certificate of excellence
Sheffield’s Halifax Hall Hotel has been recognised as a top performing hotel on the world’s largest travel site.
The boutique hotel, which has been open almost one year, has received a TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence award.
The accolade is given to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on the site.
“There is no greater seal of approval than being recognised by our customers, so we’re pleased that the feedback we get from guests is echoed by the reviews they place online,” said Paul Foster, General Manager of Halifax Hall Hotel.
“As a team we take great pride in our work at Halifax Hall, and after being open for only 11 months, this is a big vote of confidence to our business and our continued commitment to excellence,” he said. “We’d like to thank all our guests who took the time to complete a review.”
Marc Charron, President of TripAdvisor for Business, said: “The TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award gives top performing establishments around the world the recognition they deserve, based on feedback from those who matter most – their customers. From Australia to Zimbabwe, we want to applaud exceptional hospitality businesses for offering travellers a great customer experience.”
The popular 38 bedroom hotel is run by the University of Sheffield subsidiary UNICUS, and is set in the University’s landscaped Endcliffe Village gardens.
The building started out as a steel baron’s mansion and then became a University of Sheffield Hall of Residence. Last year it had its third transformation, with a £1.8million makeover creating a contemporary hotel.
